Hi there,
my questinon belongs not to a specific template, I think. (in my case jm-sport)

Spend a couple of hours to set up the template on a LOKAL server and want to export the settings and styles to my server-copy.
And , second, want them to import to the installation on server.

Tried to upload the whole (local)templatefolder - nothing happend.

I would appreciate any hint or tip.

Thanks in advance
Hans

Hi,

I suggest doing a backup using AkeebaBackup.
Then you can restore the backup to a different location.
Check our tutorial:

Thanks Marcin for your reply.
But on my local copy I'm using a fresh copy of joomla, on server an upgraded production version.
The only thing I want to change is the Template -which is already configured (locally).
So its neither possible nor necessary to install an backup from my local staff

Uploading the temlate-folder whith its settings is not working
Where ar the settings stored? I thought in the template folder O:
Any further suggestion from your side?

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

In the template parameters, on the settings storage tab, you can save the template parameters to a file.
On your live site, you can install the template package and load the template parameters from the file.
