Hi
I am having an issue with the Google map on a third party extension, BUT it's apparently the template that.s causing the issue.
RT (another theme supplier) posted a solution for their client but unfortunately that is not working for me. This is their solution
- disable all kinds of code compression like RokBooster.
- create a file called rt_metropolis-custom.css in the css folder of your template
- add this code
div.gmnoprint img {max-width: none;}
- clear the cache of your browser

The link on my site is its the map slider on the left of the map on the address and contact tab.
Here
Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks again

Mark

Hello,
Sorry but I don't understand where is the problem...
Could you send screenshot ?
Map in 'Contact' tab works well.

Im sorry Artur, it was nt very clear. I was very tired lol (my excuse) anyway!!

Right I have uploaded a screen shot. Webpage link Address and contact tab

i'm using a third party directory called Sobipro. As you can see from the screen shot the navigation slider and the little man image that takes you to street view is not there.
I did check Sobipro forums and quite a few people have had this issue but had to get it solved by their template company as this issue does not arise with a raw Joomla template.
One chap in particular solved this problem by getting this advice and a piece of code (below)

- disable all kinds of code compression like RokBooster.
- create a file called rt_metropolis-custom.css in the css folder of your template
- add this code
div.gmnoprint img {max-width: none;}
- clear the cache of your browser

from their template provider.

He changed this a bit to the following code (below) and all is sorted:-

'The css change worked on the geo-map module but not on the geo-map field display.'
here's the altered css that fixes both:

rt_metropolis-custom.css
Code: [Select]

/* Google Map Fixes */
.gmnoprint img {max-width: none;}
.SpGeoMapModbasic img {max-width: none;}

NB: div removed so css applies to all gmnoprint img instances

I have tried these solutions but had no luck :(

You should still have my login details from an earlier post if needed or if you can tell me what to do i will have a bash.

I hope this is clearer

Mark

Hello,
I checked styles, and it seems your fix solve the problem.
/* Google Map Fixes */
.gmnoprint img {max-width: none;}
.SpGeoMapModbasic img {max-width: none;}

You should add this styles in modules.less file (before enable Developer Mode).

Hi Artur

I'm sorry but this did not seem to work, i used Aptana to edit the file and cleared all my caches ect, but but to no avail.
Could it be something else?

Mark
