Dears,

I have a problem to configure HikaShop extension.

I thought that commercial extension is included in the template bought. Yes, it is, but after installing I found out that the essential eshop functionalities are missing there.

Can you explain how to get working:
- Filter functionality
- sorting products according different parameters (e.g. price)
- is it possible the registered user to add a new product to the particular category by himself? How to do it, please?

I noticed that business licence must be bought for some functionality. Is it the only way how to make it working (above mentioned)? :-(

Thank you for your feedback.
Best Regards,
David

Hello,
As you can read on :

www.joomla-monster.com/all-templates/i/2...9-jm-modern-hikashop

"Template price includes theme for HikaShop component. The demo copy - quickstart includes HikaShop free version. If you need to use the commercial HikaShop version, you need to buy HikaShop separately."

a) Filter - this is HikaShop Filter module.
You can create filters in Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Filters.

b) You can set ordering in 'Content menu' or 'Content module' depend your configuration.
Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content menus -> Ordering.
Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content modules -> Ordering.

c) This is not possible on front-end.

Hello Artur,

thank you for your feedback. As usually very quick.

Some of my comments:

a/ Filter option under the path you mentioned is for business version, am I right?

b/ probably we didn't understand each other. I would like to list the products e.g. according the price (cena), see on the picture attached. How to do it?
To be honest when I follow:
Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content menus -> Ordering.
Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content modules -> Ordering.

...I can't find the Ordering option. Can you shortly explain how Content menu/modules work? I went through documentation, but couldn't find the proper description what the difference and how it works.

c/ OK, understood.

thank you and Regards,
David

Hello,
a) Unfortunately yes, this option is available only in business version.

b) Check for example - 'Online Store' item.
As you can see in Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content menus -> 'Online store' - this is component part which display only Category icons (Type of content - Category). However this item has also associated module - Components -> HikaShop -> Display -> Content modules -> 'Online store module' which display products (Type of content - Product).
You can change ordering for Categories (in Content menus in this case) or ordering for Products (in Content modules in this case).

But as I can see there is no option to list the products according to price.

Best Regards.

Thanks Artur,

I got accross your point that you explained in the example. That's what I use on my web. But imagine you list all "women" products of this category. You have 1000 products there. Now you would like to list the latest added products firstly, or other listing.
I would like to achieve the same "essential" functionality as provided in DJ Classified module, see the screenshot attached. There you can choose the basis of your listing.

Is it possible in HikaShop module, please?

Thank you,
Regards,
david
