Best way to create multilanguage site?

Hello. How to add any language and create something like language switcher?
As i know joomla 3 has some default functionality for creating multilanguage site:

But may be it is not the best solution for joomclassifieds?
In some post i found a mention about localise extension .
So, what to do? How to better add new language?

You can create multilanguage site (with manual) exactly the same as in clean Joomla, this is the best way.
However, an additional requirement is to install a language pack for DJ-Classifieds extension. You will find language packs at DJ-Extensions.com.
You can also use Falang extension to translate all necessary fields in DJ-Classifieds.

On our download page:

There are language packs for each component (and modules & plugins that come with it) for the most popular languages. The language packs will be used automatically once the Joomla front-end language changes to a specific one.

If the language pack for the needed language is currently not available, it can be rather simply made by translating one of the existing ones.

Please note that the language packs cover only the site's static content.
For the dynamic content, like DJ-Classifieds category names e.g., using the 3rd party component - "Falang", is recommended.
On our download area, we provide, so called, "Falang content elements" for DJ-Classifieds component, for translating database dynamic content (categories, types, etc.)

Atur if I'm using falang is it necessary to activate Dj classified language pack in my case the french pack or only the falang and plugins component?

Hello,
Language pack is used to translate static variables like labels.
With Falang component you can translate dynamic content (example advert description).

If you want to have a fully translated page you need to install the language pack and use Falang.
