Artur you are doing it again, just telling me that I have to make a Menu, and nothing else usefull.
And pointing to another documentation that still not contain the information I needed yesterday.

In the "jm-joomads-J3 - manual.zip" that comes with the template, you need to tell how it exactly is made, see below.

This would be a proper answer (along with screendumps):

First you have to go to the component DJ-Classified and click on categories.
Then create all the categories you need like Cars, Clothes, Electronics etc.

Then create a menu, with a main categori, go to the pane Page Display and set the Page Class to: blog-desc-bottom
Create sub categories like the categories you just created in the DJ-Classified.

And then it will show up on the front page.

Here is the big different the Page Class and the categories in the DJ-Classified.
So please update the correct documentation with above info.

Can you see the difference?

You may have a nice day. :-)

Regards

Morten

Hello,
:)
I thought you have 'quickstart' package and you have just removed menu item (popular problem).

If you have installed template on 'clean' Joomla, of course, first you need to add categories and items, as you wrote :)

Template and extensions have really a lot of settings and it is difficult to type them all. That is why we provide 'quickstart' package which contains all settings.

Also, we do not use class 'blog-desc-bottom' on demo page (indeed this class is available). If you have more questions please ask more precise what you like to achieve and where is the problem.

Best regards.

Hi Artur,

Weel quickstart package is good for many things, but as with all other this one too have a lot of garbage inclueded , like images, stuff from demo content from joomla it self like Fruite and Park samples etc.

If there just was a CLEAN quickpackage with only the design setup, with no categories, Items etc included then the quickpackage was usefull.

As the quickpackage is for now is good to see how to configure the setup, but not really usefull in a live setup.

I know that I can delete most of it, but I like my pages to be clean from start.

If 'blog-desc-bottom' is not used, why is it then setup in the quickpackage? and what does it doo then?

It would actually be very nice if all those settings was listet in simple view, so it was easy to get a overview of them and how to use them.

When all this is sayd, I have to say that the design of template JM-Joomads is in my opinion very very beautiful, at I really love the design and functionallity, and de more I Work with it, de more I love it.

Regards

Morten

Hello,
Thank you for your attention, certainly we consider it.
'blog-desc-bottom' class can be used for component -> DJ-Classifieds Blog view (this suffix will center item image). On our demo we do not use this class, and probably was given in the quickstart package by accident.

Hi Artur/EagleDK,

I would like to remove the menus you are trying to put back. :)

I've removed most of them but can't seem to find how to remove the last album and the categories list with icons.

Your help would be greatly appreciated in removing this!

Regards,
Tyrone

Hello,
Could you send more details what exactly you are trying to remove, please?
You can add also site URL. This will help with localization the problem.

Best Regards.
