Hi Support Team,

I need help with the JM Team Profiles module that came with the demo site on JM Events Agency. In the "Team members" module, the sample members have "Social icon" sample codes for Facebook "fa fa-facebook", Twitter "fa fa-twitter", and Google "fa fa-google". Unfortunately, when this page is published and viewed in Chrome, the social icons are missing and the "?"/"!" blinks back and forth. I've searched your site for a document that would solve this issue but nothing shows up. Please provide details on how to make this work.

I would appreciate more understanding about this included module as it is set up. If I have to upload the catalog of these icons to my joomla site, please send me the link to the appropriate group of icons.

Thanks, Corrin

Hello,
In this module, we are using Font Awesome icons.
Make sure Font Awesome is loaded in module settings or in Template options.
Extensions -> Templates -> JM Template -> Fonts -> Font Awesome.

Have a nice day.

Thank you for the reply. I still need help. I followed your directions (Extensions -> Templates -> JM Template -> Fonts -> Font Awesome) and I get to this place:

The folder for the fonts doesn't open so I guess the font awesome files are not there. Is there a way to get them uploaded?

Hello,
No need to search Font Awesome in the files.
You need to enable Font Awesome in Template options and just use a proper class on site eg. fa fa-facebook.

Thanks for the reply. I tried "fa fa-facebook" several times—even cleared the cache to no avail. I finally gave up and made icons for facebook, twitter and pinterest. I uploaded them to a folder in my media and added them to the buttons on the JM Social Icon modules for the social media connections. So it works this way.

Do I need to worry about losing these changes if the template updates? I figure that my media folder should be secure from template updates.

Also, can you tell me what color modification controls these buttons in JM Social Icons for JM Events Agency template?

And where to change the colors for the mobile sidebar menu in JM Events Agency template?

Hello,
Well, it is hard to say where is the problem with font awesome without access to the page.
You will not lose any data in media or images directories.

You can change social icons background with CSS style:
.jmm-social.override .jmm-list .jmm-item {
background: red;
}

DJ-Megamenu Offcanvas cannot be changed without major CSS modifications.
