Hello dear friends!

I'm your customer and I'm working with JM-Dating template on my local machine so far. Today I tried to check how the Coming Soon function of the template works and I enabled it in the JM-Dating default template settings area of my test website (Joomla 3, JM-Dating Quickstart). Now I can't disable this function. This is the issue.

I clicked on the respective 'Disabled' button of the Coming Soon option in the said area, but after that I CAN'T SAVE this new configuration: when I clicked on the 'Save' button nothing happened at all. And so the regular frontpage of the website doesn't show up. My work on my project stopped because of the issue.

Please let me know how to disable the Coming Soon function manually, or what should I do in the situation.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

Sergei

P.s. Please also note that after localization of the template for some languages I can see only abracadabra instead of a normal text on the Coming Soon page. I tried to solve the problem by NoNumber ReReplacer component, but that was exactly my last attempt after which no new configuration settings change can be saved in the JM-Dating default template settings area. So all my one-week work turned into nothing at the moment.

HELLO! I'VE JUST SOLVED MY PROBLEM. AS I WROTE, I'VE BEEN WORKING WITH JM-DATING TEMPLATE ON MY LOCAL MACHINE. SO TO UNBLOCK MY TEST WEBSITE, I.E. TO GET RID OF THE COMING SOON FUNCTION BLOCKING MY WEBSITE'S REGULAR FRONTPAGE, I'VE TEMPORARILY CHANGED TIME ON THIS MACHINE. AFTER THIS SIMPLE ACTION I'M ABLE TO SAVE ANY NEW TEMPLATE SETTINGS CHANGE.

CHEERS! :)

Hi Artur!
Thank you. Well, please consider that some of your customers work with JM templates on local machines to start but not on web servers. So there is no site URL from me so far since I've been working on my local machine (local server on my home PC, such as WAMP or XAMP).
Best Regards!

Hello,
In this case, please edit 'joomla/templates/jm-dating/tpl/default.php' file and change line ~78 :
<?php	if(($comingsoon!='0') AND (!empty($comingsoondate)) AND ($futuredate=='1')) {

to
<?php if(($comingsoon!='0') && (!empty($comingsoondate)) && ($futuredate=='1') && JFactory::getApplication()->isSite() && JFactory::getUser()->guest) {
That should fix the problem.

Best Regards.
