hi,
i need to add an additional custom.css file with this path :

templates/wbamp/css/custom-Main.css

to the theme css files.

for some reasons, i don't want to use wbamp css input filed in plugin config.
and when i ask to to help me add a css file they were so wicked about giving customization hint.

i taught maybe you folks can help me with this.

p.s: i have purchased your amp theme!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

There is no easy way to include a custom css file.
The Google AMP project allows adding styles using the "<style amp-custom>" tag only.
You cannot add external files to the head of the theme.

As a temporary solution, you can add your custom styles to the theme css:
/plugins/wbampthemes/jmamptheme/theme/dist/css

We will consider adding a possibility to use a custom file for styles for the next update.

Regards,
Marcin

Okay,

Thanks for your information marcin.
i have another question for you.
as you have add some styles in AMP Theme for amp-sidebar with "!important" when i want to customize the css style of it like max-width i have to use !important and when i use AMP validator is givin me Errors on it.

i have removed some of your other css styles from --> /plugins/wbampthemes/jmamptheme/theme/dist/css
so i didn't had to use !important but for amp-sidebar some css styles are not coming from -> /plugins/wbampthemes/jmamptheme/theme/dist/css

any idea of how to change the max-width of amp-sidebar tag without using !important ?!

Thanks !

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

We do not use the "important" rule in our theme because it is forbidden for AMP pages.
However, there are core AMP classes and styles which may contain that rule.
There is no possibility to overwrite them because you could do that using the important rule only but then your AMP pages will not be valid.

Marcin
