We have just got the news portal and we want to use it in our website using JM-Web-Development.

We are trying to put a menu in our main menu (JM WEb-Dev) that will link to a section of the website where only the News-Portal template would apply and that the main-menu would be different. We have no clue on how to do this :(

Can you tel me were I can fin some documents and procedure on how to do this and or give me some guides lines in this message.

Thank you.

Hi,

I am not sure if I understand what you mean.
Did you try to assign other menu that should be dispalyed with the jm-news-portal template only?
I mean, if jm-news-portal should display other menu, you should:

1. duplicate dj-menu module
2. select the correct menu name in the module parameters
3. assign the menu module to the correct menu item (the same as jm-news-portal uses)

Try it.
