Error
Unable to find install package

The package is JM PSD slices. I am guessing it is getting uninstalled when you uninstall the installation folder at the beginning, saying that I have gone into the quickstart zip folder and tried looking for it either it is not there or I can not locate it.

I have tried looking for the file in the zip folder but it is not there where can you find XML setup file so I can add it to the directory. I have updated the sites and plugins.

Any one bump into this issue?

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.

That is not a package which you can install via Joomla.
It contains PSD files (for Photoshop), so you need to unpack it and open the files using Adobe Photoshop.

Marcin

I have tried unzipping and uploading but not with photo shop I have used joomla to try and upload via the folder, I have opened the zip but there is no JInstaler .xml file that I can see? I am using Joomla! 3.6.0 Stable and the zip files that come with the quickstart for the template but it wont acknowledge the jm-PSD- zip or unzipped .

Hi I was under the impression that when you download one of the free templates to test drive, that when you upload the zip files you would get that theme automatically installed? How come I have no images in my slides? Just the jamoola monster?

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

1) The PSD slices package does not contain any files that need to be installed on Joomla.
It contains a Photoshop project where you can edit layers (template image parts). After saving the images from the PSD project, you can upload them to a proper directory on your server.

More details on how to modify PSD slices:

2) We do not include stock photos to the quickstarts. We use placeholders instead of the stick photos.
