I'm absolutely furious that I spent $57 dollars on a template and get an error message every time I view the admin control panel, because I haven't re-purchased a key @ $75, after 14 days of having the template installed.

The templates are great, but if there are hidden fees associated with the advertising of these templates, then we have a problem.

**On top of that , I've purchased 3 templates, 2 of which have DJ catalog - and the license code is the exact same so they both are expired**

Ryan.

Hi,

Before getting firious I suggest everyone asking or looking for information you need.
DJ-Catalog2 is a commercial extension so it requires a valid license to get updates and support.
This component and its modules are included to our demo sites but there is no need to purchase a longer subscription for dj-catalog2.
It will also work without a valid license code but you will not have the access to updates and support for that component.

I suggest reading our faq section to learn mroe -> new.dj-extensions.com/dj-catalog2/faq

We are going to release more commercial components that will be included to demo sites.
The rule will be the same.
We also include info to a template description about commercial extensions used on our demo site.

So, the question is how to get rid of the "error message" that shows up in my control panel for not having a subscription? There is nothing in the FAQ's about having to be bothered with this type of message.

In addition, from what's been described, these templates don't cost $50-$70 a piece for commercial-use, they cost upwards of $120 for a 1 year worry-free subscription. So, my $150 purchases (3 templates) will have to turn into $350+ purchases.

This is disappointing.

This is not an error that makes problems with working with the component, this is a commercial extension that informs customer about a license.
As I said in the previous post don't have to buy license to work with the basic version of dj-catalog2

Moreover, as for the template price:
By "template" we understand the global definition of "template" and a price includes a template price only.
By "extension" we understand the global definition of "extension"- additional tools for Joomla that you can use or not.
We also inform about commercial extensions that a particular demo site uses, so the customer is well informed.

I uderstand you are disappointed but I think you should have read more carefully about templates and used extensions before making a purchase.

You can delete this thread. I see in the template preview page where it discusses the way the commercial extensions work. I assumed your template demo structure worked like a majority of the other template companies out there. I see where this isn't correct.

Thanks.
