Hi good morning!

First of all thanks so much in advance!

I am using the jm-services in my website ( www.esferasistemasintegrales.es ). I have selected the option to compress css, js on the template config, and enabled gzip compression in the Joomla config (I am sure that the hosting allows it), modified the .htaccess to include the gzip lines, but when I try to get the gtmetrix report, I got that gzip compression it is not working

I have follow your blog post about improving the performance, but I still get a really low result

Could you please help me with that, Am I doing something wrong n the template config?

Thanks so much

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.
Yes, it looks like the gzip is enabled on your server, but not all files on your website are compressed with gzip.
1) Make sure you are using the latest template and EF4 Framework versions on your site.
2) Make sure you have copied the htaccess rules from our article:
www.joomla-monster.com/blog/web-developm...-your-joomla-website
3) If the rules do not help you, then I suppose the problem lies on the server side.
I suggest you contact your hosting support for any clue regarding this issue.

Regards,
Marcin
