Hi,

I would like to make some changes to the template I've purchased. I wouldn't like this changes to be lost in the next update. How can I make the changes to the files while keeping the originals as well? I know there's a way to create a new
"mytemplate" folder and copy the CSS files there but it's not working...

Regards,

Guy.

Hello,
You can add separate css file with your styles.
Just create file 'custom.css' in CSS directory and next edit file 'templatename/lib/php/dj_head.php' (Joomla 2.5) and add code below the line 17th:
<link href="<?php echo $jm_path;?>css/custom.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

Best Regards.
