Hi

The dj_menu was working. Then I tried building my own with out all the demo information and it appeared the css was not working. www.horn.shorttshack.com

So I reinstalled without the demo info and none of the dj-extensions installed and the dj_men didn't work. www.hornpto.shortthshack.com .

So two quesitons...
1)What is the easiest way to install the template along with the extensions without all the sample demo. Should I install with sample demo then trash all articles, modules, and categories?

2) Why isn't the dj_menu's working when I create a new menu?

When I choose a desired position shouldn't the menu show in that position? Why is it different for this template? According to the modules associated with the menus the positions are all over the place. When I choose the associated module position (dj-menu-top) it's not showing up. I see in older versions that position 7 is chosen and its working...makes no sense. Please help.

Thanks,
Garnett

Hello,

We highly recommend to install the quickstart package instead of installing the template and its extensions separately.
However it should work without problem even if you install them separately but you will have to configure all the extensions from the begining.

In the case of the css issue, remember to set "No" for "Include default CSS" in the djmenu module parameters.

Can you explain the issue with the module positions? Screenshots would be appreciated.

Marcin

Thanks Marcin, setting the css fixed it.

I don't mind loading all the sample data to make the extensions easy, but what is the easiest way to get rid of all the sample articles, modules, categories etc. Should I just trash everything? Will that adversely affect the template?

Thanks,
Garnett

Hello,

Yes, that is the easiest way.
You can also manually replace the content of existing articles, modules with your own data.
