SVG Logo

I am trying to set the logo to be a SVG file. There are 2 problems with this:

1) Joomla (2.5) media manager and template manager do not allow upload of SVG files (I managed to upload SVG via ftp)

2) The template manager for JM-Business-Marketing does not allow an SVG to be selected as a logo.

How do I go about making my logo in SVG format? I stumbled upon this

but I am unsure how to tie them together.

Thank you in advance!

Default Joomla do not provide SVG logo.
But there is the way.

First you should edit lib/php/jm_setup.php and change code (just add the second line):
$logo = $this->params->get('logo');
$logo = $this->params->get('logo');
$logo = JFile::stripExt($logo) . '.[ext]';

Next install and enable plugin SVG-Helper.
Make sure you have logo.png/jpg and logo.svg file in same folder.
In Template Manager you should set png/jpg file as always.

Best Regards.
