Hi I was wondering if you could help :)

I was attempting to modify the template so that all 3 of the bottom modules are responsive.

I am not a php or css expert, but have found the following code in the index.php file:
<?php if ($this->countModules('bottom1')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom1">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom1','jmmodule',4); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>
        <?php if ($this->countModules('bottom2')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom2">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom2','jmmodule',1); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>
        <?php if ($this->countModules('bottom3')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom3">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom3','jmmodule',1); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>

I then included the statements:
<?php if ($this->countModules('bottom1')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom1">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom1','jmmodule',4); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>
        <?php if ($this->countModules('bottom2')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom2">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom2','jmmodule',4); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>
        <?php if ($this->countModules('bottom3')) : ?>
        <div id="jm-bottom3">
            <?php echo DJModuleHelper::renderModules('bottom3','jmmodule',4); ?>
        </div>
        <?php endif; ?>

Then in the responsive_css.php file, I've modified:
#jm-top .rowcount_2 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_2 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-content-top1 .rowcount_2 .content-top1-in,
    #jm-content-bottom2 .rowcount_2 .content-bottom2-in,
    #jm-top .rowcount_3 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_3 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-content-bottom2 .rowcount_3 .content-bottom2-in,
    #jm-top .rowcount_4 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_4 .bottom1-in {
    width: 100%;
    	float: none;
    }

to:
#jm-top .rowcount_2 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_2 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom2 .rowcount_2 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom3 .rowcount_2 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-content-top1 .rowcount_2 .content-top1-in,
    #jm-content-bottom2 .rowcount_2 .content-bottom2-in,
    #jm-top .rowcount_3 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_3 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom2 .rowcount_3 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom3 .rowcount_3 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-content-bottom2 .rowcount_3 .content-bottom2-in,
    #jm-top .rowcount_4 .top-in,
    #jm-bottom1 .rowcount_4 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom2 .rowcount_4 .bottom1-in,
    #jm-bottom3 .rowcount_4 .bottom1-in {
    width: 100%;
    	float: none;
    }

Is there anywhere else in the template that I'd need to modify?

Thanks in advance :)

Hello,

First of all, all the bottom modules are responsive by default.
On the bottom1 position you can display up to 4 modules in a row (2 modules in tablet view, 1 module in mobile view).
On the bottom2 and bottom3 positions you can display only one module in a row.

There are no limits how many rows you will display.

Regards,
Marcin

Hi Marcin, thanks for the reply.

You're right, that's the limitation of the template - what I'm trying to do is make the positions bottom2 and bottom3 also have 4 module positions inside them that float, rather than stack.

Do you think it's possible?

Cheers!

Hello,

Please take into account that you can display more rows within the bottom1 position.
However if you would like to add more modules in a row for the bottom1/bottom2 positions, you have to make changes that you have posted above and then add the bottom1 and bottom2 styles to the modules.css file.
Please check the attachment. Good luck!

Regards,
Marcin

Thanks again Marcin, your reply was very helpful - unfortunately I never got around to adding the code as the client changed their minds about the additional areas!

I appreciate the help anyway :)
