Order Emails not sent &Blank screen when changing

Hi Team

Please advise on the following.. I am using the Furniture store template

1. When I change the status of the order from confirmed to shipped.. screen goes blank.. it goes to www.mywebsite.com/administrator/index.php
2. Customer places an order and they dont nor the admin get any emails... (there use to be an option to send a PDF to the customer..but I cant find that either) - Paypal order email comes through to admin and customer.. but no order invoice..

PS the customer get a registration email when they register.. so they are getting something

Any ideas please team

Hello,

I haven't encountered any of these issues while testing our demo website.
In the case of the order confirmation email, please make sure which status you have selected in the "configuration -> checkout -> default order status to send an invoice". Please note that this status can be also overriden by the payment method.

Hi Marcin,

Thanks for your reply.. I dont have that option in the configuration screen as you suggested? Any ideas? (I have attached a photo of the configuration screen

Also what do you mean that the status can also be overriden by the payment method? Are you suggesting various payment methods set the order email configuration to 'not send'?

Please advise .. we are almost ready for the site to go live and this bug is causing anxiety at this end..

Hello,

I have marked that option on your screenshot, check the attachment.
I have also attached a screenshot of the PayPal configuration for example.
As you can see there is possibility to set the order status for transactions, so you can override the default order status, which may have an impact on when the order email is sent.

Hi Marcin

Thanks for a quick response.. Yes i have seen both the settings you refer too.. When I place a ticket for support I give you guys my account and password... I assume you didnt check the settings, as they are exactly as you have indicated in your reply above

Configuration/pricing - Default Order Status to send an invoice is set to Confirmed
and the
Paypal is also set as you indicated..

Customers dont get any order emails when they use either Paypal or Moneybookers

Any other ideas?.. Please go in and have a look at my settings.. this problem is the only problem I have come up against with the furniture template - its a great template.. Something in the code is not triggering the order emails to be sent..

Hello,

First of all, have you modified any of virtuemart files?
Can you make a fresh install of our demo template on the same server, in order to check if these issues occur as well?
