Hi, I'm a newb with Joomla. I downloaded a free template from another template provider for free and had no problems hosting or manipulating the content. I just bought the JM web design theme and in the "read me" file it basically says that if I want to host the exact template and content that I see on the site here that I just have extract the file named "quick start zip" and then upload that to the extension manager in the Joomla back end manager. I've tried multiple times to do this on two different computers (a chromebook and a mac pro if that matters) with no success. I browse the file then it looks like it's going to upload but then the file name just dissapears from the ext. mgr. and no template. Please help! Thanks.

The template installation package and Quickstart is a big difference.
If you would like to get the demo copy you have to install Quickstart (joomla with example data) not the template only.
Here -> you can read the differences between template & quickstart and watch the video guide to learn how to install demo copy.
