Hi,

I want to use K2 on my site. So the frontpage will load K2 items. But when I add a new menu and replace it with Home and make it the default menu. All the homepage modules are disabled.

Is there any way to use the frontpage modules on another "frontpage".

Br, Terry

Hi,

The frontpage scheme appears only when you set a menu item to "articles->frontpage blog layout" view, otherwise it will display the subpage scheme.

Ok, so here is the solution what you can do:

If you would like to have the frontpage scheme on every K2 component view, edit index.php file and replace line 28 with this code:
<body class="<?php if(JRequest::getVar('option') == 'com_k2') { echo 'front'; } ?>">
and line 55 with this:
if(JRequest::getVar('option') == 'com_k2') {

or if you would like to have the frontpage scheme on single menu item view, replace line 28 with this code:
<body class="<?php if(JRequest::getVar('Itemid') == '1') { echo 'front'; } ?>">
and line 55 with this:
if(JRequest::getVar('Itemid') == '1') {

Remember to check what is Itemid for your menu item link and replace "1" with your item id.
Hope you will understand :)
