I found a UI issue with DJ-imagetabber

People tends to click on the "lead Text" first and then (maybe) notice the "read more" button,
is there a easy way to make the "lead text" a link !? - see screenshot.

Hi,
I understand what you mean, but I belive that option will lose the dj-imagetabber functionality.
Now you can switch between tabs to see the short description and then click on "read more"

If the tabs are links, you will be redirected to the full article and will not be allowed to continue switching between tabs.

Well, I know the intended use were to shift between tabs, and I initially thought that were handy feature - But the feedback I got on site so far is quite clear; People expect that a click on tab is a link to a product page.

It's been #1 feeedback issue so far regarding the UX.
From a UX point of view the design is misleading.

So, any hints on were to alter code to change the tabs to links?!

Hi Edgecrafter,
do you mean every tab should be linked?
Even the unactive one? so if someone clicks on one of those

tabs it's also linked? This way there will be no way to see what's on those tabs.

Or you only mean that the active tab should change its bahviour to be also the same link as on "read more" ?

let me know more details,
Cheers

I mean that all tabs should be links, also the inactive tabs!.

People scan frontpage for "what 2do next", the tabs invite for a click and visitor gets surprised the only change is a shift to new tab, with a short text ...

As stated, It's been #1 feedback after launch of site.

I will add heatmap tracking to the frontpage soon, thus will be able to provide some more solid stats/proof :-)

I've attached the file for you that do the thing,

Attachment UNZIP_ME.zip not found

but I still think it's not usable, it's like doing a menu from a slider ,
the extension was designed to work as a playing module that switches the slides while user is reading the site, to attract him to see that there's something going on, to show nice pictures/images etc,
however if you think it's better for you, the file is attached;)

just replace it in your template's html folder for example in:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/html/mod_djimagetabber

not sure what template you use so you'd maybe need to do some minor css adjustmets to make it fit,

cheers
