I've bought this Joomla JM-DECO-HOME 2.5 template offered as E-commerce solution. Can someone explain the difference between a Joomla template and a Virtuemart 2.0.6 template? Is this purely look&feel settings in css?

If there is anyone who has customised the JM-DECO-HOME or a similar e-commerce template, then I would love to share experiences with you!

Hi,

Joomla template includes vm files that relate to various VirtueMart pages views or modules.
You can find them in templates/jm-home-deco-store/html

All those VM files were overwtitten to achieve a required store design by adding few classes or id's and then css styles in
templates/jm-home-deco-store/css/vm.css

If you delate all vm files from:
templates/jm-home-deco-store/html
and
templates/jm-home-deco-store/css/vm.css

and enable default VirtueMart css in the vm configuration backend, VirtueMart will use its own default theme and css styles.

I didn't see this reply for six/seven weeks. I highly recommend that the replies should also be emailed to the users as you shouldn't expect them to be logging in here regularly. This option is for example commonly available in LinkedIn.
