[UPDATE] Good News for DJ-MediaTools and Joomla 5 users!

Joomla 5 native compatibility
The most important news regarding the latest update (that so many DJ-MediaTools users have been waiting for) is that it has the native compatibility with Joomla 5. This version also works with Joomla 4.x. Additionally we have introduced few improvements and bug fixes.
Ver. 2.19 changelog:
- (+) Joomla 5 native compatibility without B/C plugin
- (+) Improved memory_limit check to not overwrite the value if it is greater than 256M
- (+) Added language constants for the Prev/Next buttons instead of the hardcoded text in the MagnificPopup and Photoswipe scripts
- (!) Improved dark mode for the DJ-MediaTools views in the backend
- (!) Removed old code related to Joomla 2 and Joomla 3
- (!) Removed the MooTools version of the slider scripts
- (!) Fixed deprecation notices "Implicit conversion from float (...)"
- (!) Fixed deprecation notices "Deprecated: preg_replace(): Passing null to parameter (...)"
- (!) Fixed warning "Undefined variable $btnclass (...)"
- (!) Fixed an issue with Photoswipe that could lead to a script conflict on the page
- (!) Fixed an issue with the inability to change the album thumbnail
- (!) Fixed the alphabetical sorting of items
- (!) Improved CSS styles of the prev/next buttons in the Item view in the backend
- (!) Improved the view of the album modal +
- (!) Improved accessibility by adding the role="button" attributes for the slide navigation and pagination
The beta release
Important
Remember that this is a beta version, so it's essential first to make a backup of the site on which you're testing it. We do not recommend installing this version on production websites.
We have tested the release. However, we'd like to ask you to check this version first. If you find any issues,

The stable version will be released within a few weeks as we gather feedback about the beta version.
